You know those times when you over-eat because there's so much great food that you just can't help yourself? They're baaack… Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and so is the new tradition of Friendsgiving where you eat just as much--but with friends instead of family. Sign us up for both, especially if there's chocolate involved!
The idea of a Friendsgiving meal is for everyone to be with someone during this holiday time to enjoy food and friendship, but don't bank on turkey and stuffing. Instead, there might be dishes from each person's particular culture or foods based on a certain theme.
One website we saw suggested a totally chocolate Friendsgiving! We'd vote for that and bring along our Sweet Secrets Chocolate Covered Pretzel Twists. Double-dipped and finished with a variety of yummy toppings, including seasonal favorites, they're a fantastic hostess gift or a great way to remember family that can't be with you in person.
Whether you're with family, friends or both, we wish you lots of good food, interesting conversation, laughter--and the space to fall asleep on the couch. It's tradition, after all.
